Our Story
With over two decades of experience in supermarkets and wholesale fruit & veg, proprietor Adrian Strk found his passion in food retail. Backed by the support of his parents, who brought more than 30 years in the food industry themselves, Adrian took over what was then the Melville 7 Day Market in May 2014.
By December that same year, he completed a major rebrand and renovation, reopening as Marmion St Fresh & Gourmet with a fresh new outlook and a clear focus, sustainable, fresh and gourmet produce at affordable prices for local families.
Today, you’ll find Adrian and his family continuing to provide a wide array of great value groceries, fresh fruit and vegetables, all with a heartfelt commitment to the community and a focus on delivering exceptional, old-fashioned customer service.
